The 1.4.2.108 update expanded upon Fishing by adding in several new items that the player can hook as well as continued to lay down the groundwork for the Rogue expansion update.

Balance and Reworks[]
- Reworked Astreal Defeat, no longer fires arrows that move in a rectangular grid pattern. It now fires a stream of arrows that move erratically in an arc.
- Buffed Blizzard Staff, it now inflicts the Frostburn debuff for 4 seconds on hit.
- The following weapons are no longer boosted by Cinnamon Roll and Fireball:
- Buffed Deep Sea Dumbbell, flexing now powers up the rogue weapon's stealth strikes dramatically.
- The following items are now boosted by Evergreen Gin:
- Buffed Frost Daggerfish, it now inflicts the Frostburn debuff for 3 seconds on hit.
- Buffed Frostbrand, it now inflicts the Frostburn debuff for 10 seconds on true melee hits and 8 seconds with its projectile.
- Buffed Frost Staff, it now inflicts the Frostburn debuff for 8 seconds on hit.
- Heartreach now increases the grab range of all healing projectiles by 50%.
- Nerfed Heavenly Gale, teal exo arrows now deal 16% of the weapon's damage and green exo arrows now deal 77% of the weapon's damage.
- Nerfed Kelvin Catalyst's damage from 100 to 70.
- Buffed Ice Blade, it now inflicts the Frostburn debuff for 10 seconds on true melee hits and 4 seconds with its projectile.
- Buffed Ice Boomerang, it now inflicts the Frostburn debuff for 4 seconds on hit.
- Buffed Ice Bow's damage from 46 to 61, and it now inflicts the Frostburn debuff for 8 seconds on hit.
- Buffed Ice Sickle, it now inflicts the Frostburn debuff for 10 seconds on true melee hits and 8 seconds with its projectile.
- Buffed Marrow's damage from 40 to 53, and it now inflicts the Armor Crunch debuff for 5 seconds on hit.
- Molten armor's set bonus now grants the effects of the Lava Charm and Obsidian Skull.
- Buffed North Pole, it now inflicts the Frostburn debuff for 10 seconds on true melee hits, 8 seconds with its clone projectile, and 4 seconds with its snowflake projectiles.
- Profaned Soul Artifact now always gives +1 max minions even while the player is Burnt Out.
- Buffed Snowball, it now inflicts the Frostburn debuff for 2 seconds on hit.
- Statis' Belt of Curses and Statis' Ninja Belt can now have their dashes toggled using visibility.
- Nerfed Throwing Brick's damage from 20 to 14.
NPCs[]
- An audio cue is now played when an adult Eidolon Wyrm targets and attacks a player.
- Astrum Aureus, Brimlings, Brimstone Elemental, Calamitas, Cataclysm, Catastrophe, Great Sand Shark, Melters, Pestilent Slimes, Plague Chargers, Plaguebringers, The Plaguebringer Goliath, Plagueshells, Ravager, Siren and Leviathan, and Virulings are no longer immune to Frostburn.
- Ceaseless Void now has a unique hit sound.
- The Devourer of Gods now has unique Cosmic Worm summoning and hit sound effects.
- Eidolists now have a unique death sound and no longer automatically aggro a player while a boss is alive.
- Irradiated Slimes are now immune to all debuffs.
- Jungle Dragon, Yharon no longer becomes fully invisible when teleporting, and swapped the two music tracks that play during the first and second phase of the fight.
- King Slime in Revengeance Mode can now only spawn Rainbow Slimes during Hardmode.
- All enemies that spawn during the Old One's Army event except Etherian Wyverns and Kobold Gliders are now immune to Slow and Webbed.
- Overloaded Soldiers and Phantom Debris now have mirrored AI.
- Providence, the Profaned Goddess now has unique spawn, hit, laser, and death sound effects.
- All Sand Shark variants can now tunnel through Astral Sand and Astral Sandstone blocks.
- Scorn Eaters now have unique hit, death, and jumping sounds, and can now pass through tiles while super jumping.
- All Solar Eclipse enemies now have a 4% / 6% chance to drop 1 Darksun Fragment after a buffed Mothron has been defeated.
- Supreme Calamitas' Brimstone Monster projectiles now emit a droning sound effect when near the player.
- Voodoo Demon's drop rates are now affected by the Defiled Rune.

- All instances of Auric Ore in recipes have been replaced with Auric Tesla Bars with a 20:1 ratio.
- Asgard's Valor recipe now requires 1 Core of Calamity instead of 3 Cores of Chaos, Eleum, and Sunlight to be crafted.
- Astral Breastplate recipe now also requires 6 Meteorite Bars to be crafted.
- Astral Helm recipe now also requires 9 Meteorite Bars to be crafted.
- Astral Leggings recipe now also requires 8 Meteorite Bars to be crafted.
- Ataxia Armor recipe now also requires 3 Cores of Chaos and 8 Hellstone Bars to be crafted.
- Ataxia Headgear, Ataxia Helm, Ataxia Helmet, Ataxia Hood, and Ataxia Mask recipes all now also require 1 Core of Chaos and 4 Hellstone Bars to be crafted.

- Elemental Excalibur recipe now requires 10 Shadowspec Bars instead of 10 Nightmare Fuel, Endothermic Energy, Calamitous Essences, Darksun Fragments, and Yharon Soul Fragments.
- Gravity Normalizer Potion recipe now requires an Aldebaran Alewife to be crafted.
- Hadal Stew recipe now requires 1 Coastal Demonfish to be crafted.
- Hermes Boots recipe now also requires 4 Swiftness Potions to be crafted.
- Magic Quiver recipe can now be crafted with an Endless Quiver, 5 Blighted Lenses, 10 Pixie Dust, and 8 Souls of Light at a Crystal Ball.
- Reaver Cuisses recipe now also require 2 Essences of Sunlight and 8 Jungle Spores to be crafted.
- Reaver Headgear, Reaver Helm, Reaver Helmet, Reaver Mask, and Reaver Visage recipes all now also require 1 Essence of Sunlight and 6 Jungle Spores to be crafted.
- Reaver Scale Mail recipe now also requires 3 Essences of Sunlight and 12 Jungle Spores to be crafted.
- Revivify Potion recipe now requires a Scarred Angelfish to be crafted.
- Shadowspec Bar recipe now requires 1 Auric Tesla Bar and 1 Calamitous Essence to be crafted.
- Soaring Potion recipe now requires a Sunken Sailfish to be crafted.
- Titan Scale Potion recipe now requires a Coralskin Foolfish to be crafted.
- Dragon Pow recipe now requires 4 Yharon Soul Fragments instead of 5 Cosmilite Bars.
Additional Changes[]
- Abaddon and Abyssal Diving Gear now work when equipped as either a helmet or an accessory.
- Acceleration Rounds, Acid Rounds, Astral Round projectile, Enhanced Nano Rounds, Flash Rounds, Frostspark Bullets, Holy Fire Bullets, Hyperius Bullets, Superball Bullets, and Verium Bullets now have more afterimages.
- Added a glowmask to Ectoheart.
- Added a mod compatibility call to turn Calamity's various difficulty modes on or off. Unlike when using the item, this will not kill anyone, and does work while bosses are alive.
- Added a tooltip to Dragon Pow.
- Added an internal listing of ice-themed weaponry.
- Added new progress messages to Calamity's improved Lihzahrd Temple generation to make it obvious that it has been modified.
- Added numerous recipe groups to Calamity's recipe code. This has no visible effect in-game.
- Added several items to the drop pools of vanilla fishing crates:
- Wooden Crates now have a 25% chance to yield 3-5 Wulfrum Shards.
- Iron Crates now have a 25% chance to yield 5-8 Wulfrum Shards, and a 25% chance to yield 5-8 Ancient Bone Dust.
- Corrupt Crates now have a 25% chance to yield 5-8 Fetid Essences.
- Crimson Crates now have a 25% chance to yield 5-8 Bloodletting Essences.
- Corrupt and Crimson Crates now have a 25% chance to yield 5-8 Blighted Gel, and a 25% chance to yield 1-3 Murky Sludge.
- Jungle Crates now have a 20% chance to yield 1-3 Murky Paste, a 20% chance to yield 1-3 Maneater Bulbs, a 20% chance to yield 1-3 Trapper Bulbs in Hardmode, a 25% chance to yield 5-10 Perennial Bars post-Plantera, a 20% chance to yield 3-6 Plague Cell Canisters post-Golem, and a 25% chance to yield 5-10 Uelibloom Bars post-Providence.
- Sky Crates now have a 25% chance to yield 5-10 Aerialite Bars post-Hive Mind/Perforators, a 20% chance to yield 5-15 Essences of Sunlight in Hardmode, and a 10% chance to yield 1-3 Galactica Singularities post-Moon Lord.
- Dungeon Crates now have a 30% chance to yield 5-10 Ectoplasm post-Plantera, and a 20% chance to yield 5-10 Phantoplasm post-Polterghast.
- Hallowed Crates now have a 20% chance to yield 5-10 Unholy Essences post-Providence.
- All Rogue armor sets now explain how to use Stealth Strikes in their set bonus tooltip.
- All grappling hooks now show their stats in their tooltips.
- Astral Crates now have a 25% chance to drop 5-10 Meld Blobs post-Astrum Deus.
- Astral Sand is no longer valid ammunition for the Sandgun.
- Caribbean Rum and Warped's vertical velocity effects no longer work while mounted.
- Code 1 no longer counts as true melee.
- Flamebeak Hampick can now be used as a hammer as its alternative fire.
- Heavenly Gale's Exo Tornadoes are now more transparent.
- Increased the item stack limit of Cinnamon Roll and Evergreen Gin from 1 to 30.
- Increased the lifesteal cap from 60 / 50 / 40 / 20 to 80 / 70 / 60 / 50.
- Iron Franciscas and Lead Tomahawks are now only recovered 25% of the time instead of 50% of the time.
- Nanotech and Raider's Talisman's tooltips will now list the player's current stacked crit boost.
- Reduced the catch chance of Fish of Light and Fish of Night from 3% to 2%.
- Removed unnecessary light produced by Silva healing orbs.
- Removed unnecessary sounds from the Biome Blade projectiles.
- Increased Shadowspec Bar sell price from 27 50 to 70 .
- Significantly reduced the number of Souls granted by opening Soul Fish.
- The Steampunker now sells Astral Solution outside of the Astral Infection.
- The Sulphurous Sea has a new map background.
- Reduced the amount of dust produced by main Terra Bullets by 33%, and split Terra Bullets by 50%.
- The Blast Barrel, Consecrated Water, Epidemic Shredder, Luminous Striker, Slick Cane, The Syringe, and Utensil Poker now have flavor tooltips.
- Using any non-weapon item will no longer consume rogue stealth.

- Fixed a bug where Celestial Reaper could damage Town NPCs or the Eternia Crystal.
- Fixed a bug where Golem was dropping Essences of Sunlight directly in Expert Mode.
- Fixed a bug where Lunar Kunai hitboxes were much larger than intended.
- Fixed a bug where Skeletron's magic attacks were dealing way too much damage post-Moon Lord.
- Fixed a bug where Yharon was permanently enraged in multiplayer.
- Fixed a bug where defeating Astrum Aureus would crash the game in multiplayer.
- Fixed a bug where most Calamity mod compatibility calls didn't work.
- Fixed a bug where the Bandit sold Bear's Eye randomly instead of when her name was Laura.
- Fixed a bug where the Traveling Merchant would literally say "[Name of Merchant]".
- Fixed a bug where you could continue to accrue negative lifesteal points (blocking lifesteal for extended periods of time) by attacking enemies, even those immune to lifesteal.

- Forced Terraria's netcode into providing more sync packets for Rev+ Eye of Cthulhu, Queen Bee and Spazmatism. This should help ease desync issues with these bosses.
- Hopefully fixed a bug with the adult Eidolon Wyrm's multiplayer targeting.
- Improved the visuals of The Syringe and fixed minor hitbox errors.
- Moon Lord will no longer unintentionally drop its loot during Boss Rush.
- Eidolists, Providence, the Profaned Goddess, and Scorn Eaters are all now forcibly classified as organic for the purposes of finite use weaponry.
- Fixed Radiant Star and Quasar's falling stars not dealing rogue damage.
