The 1.4.3.001 (or 1.4.3.1) update added numerous equipment, especially for the Rogue and Summoner classes. It also included many AI changes in Revengeance Mode, balance changes, general changes, resprites, and fixes. It is especially notable for the addition of Environmental Hazards, changes to Bosses and Enemy AIs, and other miscellaneous changes that are exclusive to Death Mode.

    • Buffed Astral armor maximum mana boost from 20 to 80.
    • Badge of Bravery now increases melee damage by 10%, melee critical strike chance by 5%, and melee armor penetration by 10 while the player is equipping a full set of Tarragon armor.
    • Bat Wings additional effects now occur during a Solar Eclipse in addition to at night.
    • Reworked The Bee. The damage gained while at full health is now based on the player's damage reduction instead of the weapon's damage and use time. The damage bonus now works on summon weapons. Added an effect when getting hit at full health which causes the damage taken to be halved, with a 10-second cooldown. It can now stack with the Bee Cloak.
    • Elemental Quiver now inherits the effects of the Magic Quiver.

    • Nerfed Nanotech and Raider's Talisman, added a cooldown of 0.5 seconds for the damage stacking effect.
    • Nanotech now causes stealth strikes to spawn 6 nano flares which deal 1000 damage added by 5% of the initial projectile's damage, which is now independent from Moonstone Crown's effect.
    • Buffed Necklace of Vexation conditional damage from 15% to 20%. It now causes attacks to inflict Cursed Inferno and Venom while the player is equipping a full set of Reaver armor.
    • Ornate Shield now increases max life by 20 and damage reduction by 8% while the player is equipping a full set of Daedalus armor.
    • Permafrost's Concoction now decreases mana cost by 15%. Decreased duration of Encased from 5 seconds to 3, DR provided while encased is no longer affected by the scaling formula, and the player is now immune to Chilled, Frozen, and Glacial State while encased.
    • Profaned Soul Artifact now requires 10 minion slots or higher for the defensive guardian to spawn instead of 8.
    • Shield of the Ocean now increases movement speed by 10% and life regeneration by 2 while the player is equipping a full set of Victide armor.
    • Statigel armor jump boost can now stack with Shiny Red Balloon and its upgrades.
    • Tarragon armor ranged set bonus now only spawns energy projectiles when hitting an enemy and now has a maximum count of 20.
    • Increased Vampiric Talisman lifesteal cooldown by 33.33% and capped the healing at 6.
