Death prevention

Several items in the Calamity Mod can prevent death if the player takes fatal damage while they are equipped. The player is revived back to a certain amount of health, or prevented from dying via other means, and is usually granted additional effects.

  • Player is unable to die for 10 seconds.
  • Losing all health again during this period causes the player to lose 100 max health.
    • The effect ends if the player reaches 400 max health.
  • Various other effects depending on helmet worn.

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • The revives have an order of priority in which they get triggered: Nebulous Core is always triggered first, God Slayer is triggered only if Nebulous Core did not, Silva is triggered only if the former two did not, and Permafrost's Concoction is triggered only if all other options did not.
  • Armageddon and Supreme Calamitas' lore item instant death effects bypass all revives.
  • Instantly dying to The Devourer of Gods' head in Death Mode and the Boss Rush does not bypass revives, allowing the player to survive contact with it.
