The Defective Sphere is a Hardmode rogue boomerang that is dropped by Deadly Spheres. Defective Spheres can be stacked up to five times, the amount of spheres thrown depends on the amount of stacks the player has. Spheres thrown can become one of four variants:
Sphere Types[edit | edit source]
|Yellow Thruster Spheres||A sphere that returns to the player after striking an enemy.|
|Spiked Spheres||A high velocity sphere that moves swiftly and returns to the player after striking an enemy.|
|Bladed Spheres||A extremely high velocity sphere that ignores tiles and pierces indefinitely until returning to the player.|
|Blue Thruster Spheres||A sphere that will home-in on enemies and explode on contact. This sphere will not return to the player.|
Performing a stealth strike with Defective Spheres will cause all 4 sphere types to be thrown at once, regardless of stack limit.
The Defective Sphere cannot have modifiers through any usual in-game means, due to its stackable nature.
