The Devil’s Sunrise in use, notice how the energy ball changes colors and how the slashes become more intense as they become more red.

The Devil's Sunrise is a craftable post-Moon Lord melee weapon that is a direct upgrade to the Arkhalis. While being swung, white blurred slashes will appear in the direction of the mouse, creating an illusion that the sword itself is being swung very quickly. Any enemies that are hit by the slashes will take damage and are inflicted with the Brimstone Flames debuff. The Devil’s Sunrise’s slashes will turn red the longer it is deployed, with its damage increasing immensely.

The Devil's Sunrise will also fire a small energy ball that shares similar properties to the slashes. The energy ball will follow the mouse cursor and will inflict the Brimstone Flames debuff onto enemies. The energy ball will also turn red the longer it is deployed, with its damage increasing. After nine seconds of being deployed, the energy ball will return to the player.

Its best modifier is Godly. Ruthless may be preferable versus high defense targets or if the player already has a 100% critical strike chance.
