This guide will mention Expert Mode+ items with no special formatting and will follow the intended progression.

Pre-Boss[edit | edit source]

Start as you normally would - gather materials for building, build a couple of houses, increase your maximum health, make a trip to the Corruption/Crimson for your first ranged weapon, farm Cnidrions for Victory Shards and make Victide bars out of them. If you have a Gravitation Potion - you should look for floating islands.

The drops from Calamitas help greatly in dealing with this boss thanks to the piercing effects of them which help with the 2nd phase. At this point you should aim into becoming a single class since mixed gets rather weak because of the armor set bonuses getting stronger.
