A single burst from the Hadopelagic Echo followed by three bursts against a row of Target Dummies. Note how the sound waves slow down with each successful hit until they stop completely.

The Hadopelagic Echo is a craftable post-Moon Lord magic gun that is a direct upgrade to the Eidolic Wail. It fires five sound waves that can ricochet off of walls in quick succession. The second, third, fourth, and fifth sound waves deal additional damage and all sound waves deal increased damage the more they pierce. They also echo when hitting enemies, creating four extra sound waves around the enemy. After hitting an enemy they slow down and fade. The sound waves ignore NPC immunity frames, dealing constant damage to any enemies they touch, and inflict the Crush Depth debuff.

Its best modifier is Mythical.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • The weapon's sprite was originally intended to be a resprite of the Eidolic Wail.
  • The weapon has a 1 percent chance of playing the Sunskater death sound instead of the typical sound.
