What used to be a majestic beast swimming through the water has now become a dried-up and
gluttonous husk on a constant and voracious search for its next meal.
Place in your inventory for an increase to defense while in the desert or sunken sea.
When in the Desert, Underground Desert or Sunken Sea, the player gains 5 defense. Desert Scourge Rarity Level: 1
The Eye of Cthulhu (Lore).png
The Eye of Cthulhu That eye...how peculiar.
I sensed it watching you more intensely as you grew stronger.
Place in your inventory for night vision at all times.
All light sources are brightened, similar to the Night Vision Helmet or Night Owl Potion. Eye of Cthulhu Rarity Level: 1
Crabulon (Lore).png
Crabulon A crab and its mushrooms, a love story.
It's interesting how creatures can adapt given certain circumstances.
Place in your inventory to gain the Mushy buff while underground or in the mushroom biome.
While in the Underground layer, Cavern layer or a Mushroom Biome, the player will gain the Mushy buff. Crabulon Rarity Level: 2
The Crimson (Lore).png
The Crimson This bloody hell, spawned from a formless mass of flesh that fell from the stars eons ago.
It is now home to many hideous creatures, spawned from the pumping blood and lurching organs deep within.

The Corruption (Lore).png
The Corruption Ah, the rotten and forever-deteriorating landscape of infected life, brought upon a deadly microbe long ago.
It is rumored that this microbe was created by a race predating the Terrarians.

The Brain of Cthulhu (Lore).png
The Brain of Cthulhu An eye and now a brain.
Most likely another abomination spawned from this inchoate mass of flesh.
Allows you to teleport similar to the Rod of Discord while in the crimson. Place in your hotbar to use it.
While in The Crimson, it can be used to teleport similar to the Rod of Discord. Using it will inflict the player with Chaos State for 6 seconds. Brain of Cthulhu Rarity Level: 2
The Eater of Worlds (Lore).png
The Eater of Worlds Perhaps it was just a giant worm infected by the microbe.
Seems likely given the origins of this place.
Deadly microbes spawn around you while this is placed in your inventory.
Spawns deadly microbes around the player similarly to the Spore Sac. Microbes deal 10 damage and inflict Cursed Inferno for 1.5 seconds. Eater of Worlds Rarity Level: 2
The Perforators and their Hive (Lore).png
The Perforators and their Hive An abomination of comingled flesh, bone, and organ; infested primarily by blood-slurping worms.
The chunks left over from the brain must have been absorbed by the crimson and reconstituted into that thing.
Place in your inventory for all of your projectiles to inflict ichor when in the crimson.
While in The Crimson, all projectiles will inflict Ichor for 1.5 seconds. The Perforators Rarity Level: 3
The Hive Mind (Lore).png
The Hive Mind A hive of clustered microbial-infected flesh.
Sadly I do not believe killing it will lessen the corruption here.
Place in your inventory for all of your projectiles to inflict cursed flames when in the corruption.
While in The Corruption, all projectiles will inflict Cursed Inferno for 1.5 seconds. The Hive Mind Rarity Level: 3
Queen Bee (Lore).png
Queen Bee As crude as the giant insects are they can prove useful in certain situations.
...given the ability to control them.
Place in your inventory to make small bees and weak hornets friendly.
Bees and Hornets will deal 0 damage and become friendly. Moss Hornets are not affected by this. Queen Bee Rarity Level: 3
Skeletron (Lore).png
Skeletron The curse is said to only affect the elderly.
After they are afflicted they become an immortal vessel for an ancient demon of the underworld.
Place in your inventory to gain increased defense and damage while in the dungeon.
While in the Dungeon, the player gains 5% damage and critical strike chance and 10 defense. Skeletron Rarity Level: 3
The Slime God (Lore).png
The Slime God It is a travesty, one of the most threatening biological terrors ever born.
If this creature were allowed to combine every slime on the planet then it would be nearly unstoppable.
Place in your inventory to become slimed and to slide around on tiles quickly, at the cost of reduced defense.
The player will always have the Slimed debuff. The player will also always slide as if they were on Frozen Slime Blocks. The player loses 10 defense. The Slime God Rarity Level: 4
The Underworld (Lore).png
The Underworld These obsidian and hellstone towers were once homes to thousands of...'people'.
Unfortunately for them they were twisted by their inner demons until they were beyond saving.

Wall of Flesh I see the deed is done.
The unholy amalgamation of flesh and hatred has been defeated.
Prepare to face the true terrors that lurk in the light and dark parts of this world.

Increases the default item grab range by 50%. Wall of Flesh Rarity Level: 4
Cryogen (Lore).png
Cryogen You managed to bring down what dozens of sorcerers long ago could not.
I am unsure if it has grown weaker over the decades of imprisonment.
Place in your inventory to gain a frost dash that freezes enemies, at the cost of slightly reduced defense.
The player can dash, dealing 50 damage and applying Glacial State for 5 seconds to any enemy hit. The player loses 10 defense. Cryogen Rarity Level: 5
The Mechanical Bosses (Lore).png
The Mechanical Bosses I see you have awakened Draedon's toys.
Once useful tools turned into savage beasts when their AIs went rogue, a mistake that Draedon failed to rectify in time.

The Twins (Lore).png
The Twins The bio-mechanical watchers of the night, originally created as security using the souls extracted from human eyes.
These creatures did not belong in this world, it's best to be rid of them.
Place in your inventory to gain invisibility at night.
At night, the player will gain the effects of an Invisibility Potion. The Twins Rarity Level: 5
Brimstone Crag (Lore).png
Brimstone Crag Ah...this place.
The scent of broken promises, pain, and eventual death is heavy in the air...

Brimstone Elemental (Lore).png
Brimstone Elemental The most powerful of the elementals, bent on exacting revenge upon the bloody inferno that demolished her home.
Finally put to rest, she will suffer no longer from the grief caused by the death of her people.
Place in your inventory to improve the inferno potion effect.
Along with the normal Inferno Potion effect, nearby enemies will be inflicted with Brimstone Flames for 2 seconds and take 50 damage at double the Inferno Potion's normal tick rate. Brimstone Elemental Rarity Level: 5
The Destroyer (Lore).png
The Destroyer A machine brought to life with the mighty souls of warriors and built to excavate massive tunnels in planets to gather resources.
Could have proven useful if he didn't have an obsession with turning everything into a tool of destruction.
Place in your inventory to gain a boost to your pick speed.
The player gains 10% mining speed. The Destroyer Rarity Level: 5
Aquatic Scourge (Lore).png
Aquatic Scourge A horror born of pollution and insatiable hunger; based on its size alone this was merely a juvenile.
These Scourge creatures are the largest aquatic predators and very rarely do they frequent such shallow waters.
Place in your inventory to gain immunity to the sulphurous waters and to increase the stat gains from the Well Fed buff.
The Sulphurous Sea no longer deals damage to the player or reduces their life regen. The Well Fed buff grants an additional 1% critical strike chance, 2.5% damage, 1 defense, 2.5% melee speed, 25% minion knockback and 10% movement speed. Aquatic Scourge Rarity Level: 5

Sulphur Sea I remember the serene waves and the clear breeze.
The bitterness of my youth has long since subsided, but it is far too late. I must never repeat a mistake like this again.

Skeletron Prime (Lore).png
Skeletron Prime What a silly and pointless contraption for something created with the essence of pure terror.
Draedon obviously took several liberties with his design of this thing...I am not impressed. Better off destroyed.
Place in your inventory to gain a boost to your armor penetration.
The player gains 5 armor penetration. Skeletron Prime Rarity Level: 5
Calamitas Doppelganger (Lore).png
Calamitas Doppelganger You are indeed stronger than I thought.
Though the bloody inferno still lingers, observing your progress.
Place in your inventory to gain a boost to your minion slots but at the cost of reduced max health.
The player's max life is reduced by 25%, but they gain an extra 2 minion slots. Calamitas Rarity Level: 5
Plantera (Lore).png
Plantera Well done, you killed a plant.
However, this plant was used as a vessel to house the spirits of those unfortunate enough to find their way down here.
I wish you luck in dealing with the fallout.
Place in your inventory to gain a boost to your item grab range.
Increases the default item grab range by 100%. Plantera Rarity Level: 6
The Ocean (Lore).png
The Ocean Take care to not disturb the deep waters of this world.
You may awaken something more terrifying than death itself.
No effect Siren and Leviathan Rarity Level: 7
Leviathan and Siren (Lore).png
Leviathan and Siren An odd pair of creatures. One seeking companionship and the other seeking sustenance.
Perhaps two genetic misfits outcast from their homes that found comfort in assisting each other.
Place in your inventory to gain increased max health while wearing the siren heart and treasure detect while wearing the strange orb. Allows the young siren pet to move normally while outside of liquids.
When the Siren's Heart is equipped, the player gains an extra 5% max health. When the Strange Orb is equipped, the player is granted the effects of a Spelunker Potion and the baby siren will function normally outside of liquids. Siren and Leviathan Rarity Level: 7
Astrum Aureus (Lore).png
Astrum Aureus A titanic cyborg infected by a star-borne disease expelled from the belly of an ancient god.
The destruction of this creature will not prevent the spread of the disease.
Place in your inventory to gain increased jump speed in space.
When in Space, the player gains 50% jump speed. Astrum Aureus Rarity Level: 7
Golem (Lore).png
Golem A primitive construct.
I admire the lihzahrd race for their ingenuity, though finding faith in a such a flawed idol would invariably lead to their downfall.
Place in your inventory to gain increased defense while standing still.
When standing still, the player gains 10 defense. Golem Rarity Level: 8
The Plaguebringer Goliath (Lore).png
Plaguebringer Goliath A horrific amalgam of steel, flesh, and infection; capable of destroying an entire civilization in just one onslaught.
Its plague nuke barrage can leave an entire area uninhabitable for months. A shame that it came to this but the plague must be contained.
Place in your inventory to gain increased wing flight time but at the cost of reduced life regen.
The player's wing time is increased by 25%, but their life regen is cut in half. Plaguebringer Goliath Rarity Level: 8
Duke Fishron (Lore).png
Duke Fishron The mutant terror of the sea was once the trusted companion of an old king who tamed it using its favorite treat.
Long ago, the creature flew in desperation from the raging bloody inferno consuming its home, ultimately finding its way to the ocean.
Place in your inventory for an increase to all damage, crit, and movement speed while submerged in liquid.
When submerged, the player gains 15% movement speed and 5% damage and critical strike chance. Duke Fishron Rarity Level: 8
Ravager (Lore).png
Ravager The flesh golem constructed using twisted necromancy during the time of my conquest to counter my unstoppable forces.
Its creators were slaughtered by it moments after its conception. It is for the best that it has been destroyed.
Place in your inventory to gain an increase to all damage but reduced flight time.
The player gains 5% damage, but their wing time is cut in half. Ravager Rarity Level: 8
Lunatic Cultist (Lore).png
Lunatic Cultist The gifted one that terminated my grand summoning so long ago with his uncanny powers over the arcane.
Someone I once held in such contempt for his actions is now... deceased, his sealing ritual undone... prepare for the end.
Your impending doom approaches...
Place in your inventory for an increase to all stats during the lunar event.
During one of the Lunar Events the player gains 4% damage reduction, 4 defense, 4% damage and critical strike chance, 50% minion knockback and 10% movement speed. Lunatic Cultist Rarity Level: 9
The Red Moon (Lore).png
The Red Moon We long ago feared the light of the red moon.
Many went mad, others died, but a scant few became blessed with a wealth of cosmic understanding.

Astral Biome (Lore).png
Astral Biome The twisted dreamscape, surrounded by unnatural pillars under a dark and hazy sky.
Natural law has been upturned. What will you make of it?

Astrum Deus (Lore).png
Astrum Deus God of the stars and largest vessel of the astral infection.
Though struck down from its place among the stars its remnants have gathered strength, aiming to take its rightful place in the cosmos once more.
Place in your inventory to gain increased movement speed in space.
When in Space, the player gains 30% movement speed. Astrum Deus Rarity Level: 9
Moon Lord (Lore).png
Moon Lord What a waste.
Had it been fully restored it would have been a force to behold, but what you fought was an empty shell.
However, that doesn't diminish the immense potential locked within it, released upon its death.
Place in your inventory to gain an improved Gravity Globe that gives you an increase to all your stats while upside down.
When the player has the Gravity Globe equipped and has flipped gravity, the player gains 5% damage reduction, 10 defense, 10% damage and critical strike chance, 150% minion knockback and 15% movement speed. Moon Lord Rarity Level: 10
The Profaned Guardians (Lore).png
The Profaned Guardians The ever-rejuvenating guardians of the profaned flame.
Much like a phoenix from the ashes their deaths are simply a part of their life cycle.
Many times my forces have had to destroy these beings in search of the Profaned Goddess.

The Bumblebirbs (Lore).png
The Bumblebirbs A failure of twisted scientific rendition; it appears our faulted arrogance over life has shown once more in the results.
Originally intended to be a clone of the Jungle Dragon, these were left to roam about the jungle, attacking anything in their path.

Providence, the Profaned Goddess (Lore).png
Providence, the Profaned Goddess A core surrounded by stone and flame, a simple origin and a simple goal.
What would have become of us had she not been defeated is a frightening concept to consider.
Place in your inventory to imbue all projectiles with profaned flames, causing them to inflict extra damage.
All non-classless projectiles deal 5% extra damage. All projectiles inflict Holy Flames for 7.5 seconds. Providence, the Profaned Goddess Rarity Level: 12
The Sentinels of the Devourer (Lore).png
The Sentinels of the Devourer Signus. The Void. The Weaver.
Each representing one of the Devourer's largest spheres of influence.
Dispatching them has most likely invoked its anger and marked you as a target for destruction.

Polterghast (Lore).png
Polterghast A creature born of hatred and anger, formed by countless human souls with all of their energy entirely devoted to consuming others.
It seems a waste to have had such a potent source of power ravage mindlessly through these empty halls.
Place in your inventory to gain increased item grab range.
Increases the default item grab range by 150%. Polterghast Rarity Level: 13
The Devourer of Gods (Lore).png
The Devourer of Gods This serpent's power to assimilate the abilities and energy of those it has consumed is unique in all the known cosmos, save for its lesser brethren.
I would have soon had to eliminate it as a threat had it been given more time and creatures to feast on.
Place in your inventory to boost your true melee damage by 50%.
True melee damage is increased by 50%. The Devourer of Gods Rarity Level: 13
Jungle Dragon, Yharon (Lore).png
Jungle Dragon, Yharon I would not be able to bear a world without my faithful companion by my side.
Fortunately, fate will have it so that it is a world that I shall never have to see, for better or for worse.
Place in your inventory to gain nearly-infinite wing flight time but at the cost of a 25% decrease to all damage.
The player's wing time is increased to around 14 minutes but their damage is reduced by 25%. Jungle Dragon, Yharon Rarity Level: 14
Calamitas (Lore).png
Calamitas The witch unrivaled. Perhaps the only one amongst my cohorts to have ever given me a cause for doubt.
Now that you have defeated her your destiny is clear.
Come now, face me.
Place in your inventory to die instantly from every hit.
Causes the player to die in one hit. The message "Go to hell." will be displayed if the player dies this way. Supreme Calamitas Rarity Level: 15
