The Marnite Obliterator is a craftable Pre-Hardmode Drill and Axe combination. It can mine blocks up to 
Gold Ore / 
Platinum Ore.
Its best modifier is Godly or Demonic. Both modifiers increase its average damage output by the same amount. Mechanical tools can only have universal prefixes, because they can't have their speed modified.

- It can be crafted before defeating any boss, making it a good tool to stick with until the player acquires a Nightmare or Deathbringer Pickaxe.
