Monsoon's three arrow types and typhoon effect.
The Monsoon is a craftable post-Moon Lord bow that auto-fires five arrows at once. When firing Wooden Arrows, each fired arrow has an 20% chance of being replaced by a shark and a 6.67% chance of being replaced with a Typhoon Arrow. Typhoon Arrows erupt into a swirling typhoon on contact with enemies or tiles, dealing damage over time in a wide area. Additionally, arrows deal 10% more damage when firing Wooden Arrows.
Its best modifier is Unreal.
- A monsoon is a seasonal prevailing wind in the region of South and South East Asia, blowing from the south-west between May and September and bringing rain (the wet monsoon), or from the north-east between October and April (the dry monsoon).
- This weapon might also a reference to the antagonist with the same name from Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.
- The Monsoon and the Alluvion both share the color scheme of the Tempest Staff.
