Notes[edit | edit source]
- The Plague Hive causes ALL entities to inflict Plague, including NPC's and enemies' attacks. This will not affect the player because of the Plague Hive's additional property of making you immune to plague. It will, however, affect NPCs.
- The player's attacks have a 25% chance to inflict Plague for 6 seconds, a 37.5% chance to inflict Plague for 4 seconds, and a 37.5% chance to inflict Plague for 2 seconds.
- The HP loss from the Plague debuff, combined with the aura of it being quite long-range for when it is obtained, is enough to dispatch weaker enemies without any input from the player whatsoever.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- Despite only requiring materials up to The Plaguebringer Goliath, the Plague Hive cannot be crafted until the Lunatic Cultist has been defeated due to requiring the Ancient Manipulator. It shares this trait with the Heart of the Elements, another powerful Expert Mode-exclusive accessory with the same restrictions.
