The Starmada in use.

The Starmada is a craftable post-Moon Lord ranged weapon, the direct upgrade to the Starfleet, and the final upgrade of the Star Cannon. It fires volleys of many different star-related projectiles: small yellow stars which dissipate on impact, red stars which also dissipate on impact, pink stars which pass through tiles, large multi-color comets which pass through tiles, and fast blue bolts which causes explosive bursts upon impact. These projectiles have randomly varying movement speeds, even amongst others of the same type, although the blue bolts are always the fastest. The Starmada initially fires rather slowly, but fires faster the longer the player uses the weapon. Upon reaching around 10 seconds of sustained fire, a ring of particles is emitted from the player to indicate that they've reached the maximum fire-rate. It uses Fallen Stars as ammo.

The Starmada also has a rare item variant called the Norfleet that drops from The Devourer of Gods.

Its best modifier is Unreal.

Tips[edit | edit source]

  • Grinding Astrum Aureus is a efficient and relatively easy way of obtaining fallen stars.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • This is the only weapon in the Calamity Mod that requires Exodium Clusters to craft.
  • Its name is a portmanteau of star and armada, paying homage to the Starmada's ability to fire large amounts of stars quickly.
