The Sun Bat is a Hardmode enemy found only in the Underground and Cavern layers. They are fairly small, in comparison to some other enemies, and can be difficult to hit with certain weapons. One is to proceed with caution when entering caves early in Hardmode, as the Sun Bat can pose a moderate threat when one is not prepared to deal with them, as they inflict the Holy Flames and On Fire! debuffs.
