Treasure Bags are consumable grab bags obtained in Expert Mode as a reward for defeating bosses. Its contents depend on the boss it comes from. It is opened by either right-clicking it inside the inventory or using it while it is in your hand. In multiplayer, each player that is online at the end of the battle receives one Treasure Bag each. Treasure bags are client-side and will despawn if you exit the world.
Each Treasure Bag contains the boss's usual drops from normal mode, and most contain at least one Expert Mode-exclusive item (green-highlighted items below) and sometimes Revengeance Mode-exclusive items (red-highlighted items below) or Death Mode-exclusive items (purple-highlighted items below).

- ↑ The treasure bag has a 33.33% chance to drop only the Abaddon, a 33.33% chance to drop the Abaddon and Seething Discharge, and a 33.33% chance to drop the Abaddon and the Brimlance.
- ↑ The treasure bag will only drop one of the five weapons.

- In Revengeance Mode, all Treasure Bags have a 5% chance to drop either Stress Pills, Laudanum, or the Heart of Darkness.
- Only one of the three accessories can drop at a time.
- The Desert Scourge and Aquatic Scourge Treasure Bags additionally have a chance to drop fishing-related items as detailed on their pages.
