The Strange Orb is a light pet summoning item that summons a young siren to follow the player. It is obtained from the Shadow Chests in the Abyss. When equipped while the player is not submerged in a liquid, it flops around and gives a small amount of light. When in liquid, it swims above the player and provides much more light.

Notes

• The Young Siren is a very effective way to increase your light level in the Abyss.
• Having the Leviathan and Siren (Lore) item in your inventory will give the Spelunker effect to the player and the Young Siren will act as though it is in liquid.
• This item can also be obtained from opening Abyssal Crates.

Trivia

• Talking to the Sea King with the Young Siren active will display unique quotes.
• The Young Siren's buff tooltip is the same as the Levi's.
